Community Updates

• Community Call #11 is next week on Wednesday, January 19th from 1pm to 2pm EST. Please join to hear some exciting updates from the Aleo Team!
• The Discord is still undergoing construction. You may notice changes over the coming week. Once the new version is finalized we are going to put out an announcement and a video guide explaining how to use the server moving forward.
• The Aleo Community Grants Program is being enhanced. Our team is currently building out a website, reorganizing our review structure and making a smoother application process.
  • If you’re interested in a grant please fill out an application at: **https://www.aleo.org/grants/application**.
• The Aleo Ambassadors Program is also being worked on actively. We plan to launch this once the Discord redesign is complete and we make some announcements next week.
  • Anybody is available to join and you DO NOT need to sign up.
• We will be implementing office hours as promised. These will happen on the weeks we do not have a community call.
• The Setup Ceremony NFTs are currently being minted and sent to everybody who has made a contribution to any of the three ceremonies (Universal, Outer and Inner).
  • If you contributed to any of the three setups via the Command-Line-Interface (CLI) the NFT will be sent directly to your wallet.
  • If you contributed via the browser to the Inner Setup you will receive an email with instructions on how to mint the NFT yourself.
  • We are hoping to get most of the NFTs out to the community by the end of the month. We will make periodic announcements when NFTs for each ceremony have been sent out.
• There are number of educational initiatives being built by our developer relations team. We’ll be happy to share more about this once we have content.
